Facilitating important conversations on equity and environmental justice.

A collaborative group of organizations from 11 southern states working on issues of equity and environmental justice needed to learn best practices from each other, map assets across states, align resources and grow their collective impact. Julie facilitated the two-day meeting where much of the time was spent in open space—where participants suggest topics they want to meet about and host their own discussions, afterward reporting back to the group.

Incredibly rich conversations took place because the participants were able to have the conversations they needed to have and Julie facilitated several potentially contentious conversations “with grace and mastery.”
