Mission Continues

Creating a lasting visual that tells the story of a project with impact.

Mission Continues is one of our favorite clients. Every year they take almost 100 veterans into a tough part of a major city–the part that has the least amount of hope and feels forever neglected–and they complete an astounding amount of projects that demonstrate real care, and leave behind assets for the community to enjoy. Things like building community gardens, creating usable parks, building storage sheds for food pantries, and sprucing up everything they get their hands on. They do this in conjunction with other volunteers and folks from the neighborhoods themselves. 

Julie joins them and draws some of the projects they’ve completed, capturing the stories from the vets and community participants. She also helps them design the last day where the vets gather to share their learnings and inspire each other to continue this work in their home communities. It’s a mission we’re proud to contribute to.
